1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using Savyit, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, uninstall the app and discontinue use.
2. Service description
Savyit helps you track and visualize personal finances from information you supply, including bank SMS and bank or wallet app notifications (where permitted) and manual entries. The app may offer dashboards, charts and stats, spending streaks, a customizable money mascot (Blobby), shareable snapshots, optional Pro features, and social split tools with friends. Features may change across versions; availability can depend on device, permissions, region, or whether you are signed in.
3. Eligibility
You represent you are legally able to enter a contract where you live. You must not use the service if prohibited by applicable law.
4. Accounts & security
Cloud features (profile sync, entitlements, spending streak sync, social splits) rely on Firebase Authentication, including Google Sign-In where offered. You must safeguard credentials and notify us at support@savyit.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Your data & where it lives
You control what you import. Parsed transaction history is stored on your device by default and is not uploaded to our cloud database as part of the standard transaction path. When signed in, we may store account preferences, subscription or usage entitlements, spending streak settings and aggregate counts, friend relationships, split groups, and related social data in Firebase Cloud Firestore so those features work across devices. You are responsible for keeping your device OS updated and physically secure.
6. Sensitive financial data
You may not misuse the service to violate bank or carrier terms, scrape or process messages you lack rights to handle, impersonate others, or use another person’s financial messages without authorization.
7. AI-assisted features disclaimer
Bank SMS and app notifications are read and parsed on your phone; their text is never sent to Savyit, to any server or to any AI. Automated output may misread text, miscategorize merchants, lag, or become unavailable. Never rely solely on automated output for tax, lending, compliance, or legal decisions. Always verify amounts and details with authoritative records from your bank.
8. Pro, passes, payments & usage limits
Savyit offers a free tier with limited scans and cards, and a Pro tier without those limits while Pro is active. With Pro, new bank SMS and bank-app alerts are read as they arrive; without it they are read when you run a scan. When Pro ends, the free limits apply again and your data stays on your phone. Asking Blobby questions is free and unlimited for everyone.
Free taste: once per device, Pro may switch on for 7 days at no charge and without payment details. It ends by itself; nothing is billed.
Passes: Pro is sold as one-time payments for a fixed period (in India, 1 month for ₹49 or 1 year for ₹299, via Razorpay; elsewhere in USD via Dodo Payments, about $2.99 or $19.99, and local currency may be shown at checkout). Passes never renew automatically. Buying a pass while one is active adds the new period after the current one ends.
Lifetime: a one-time payment for Pro for as long as Savyit offers Pro, with no renewals. A founding price applies until 31 December 2026 (₹699 in India, about $24.99 elsewhere); after that the listed price applies.
Earlier subscriptions: plans bought before passes keep renewing under their original terms until canceled.
Promo codes add free Pro days as stated with the code, once per account or phone, and are added after any Pro you already have. Without an account the days stay on the phone that redeemed them.
A purchase works on up to 3 phones and can be restored with its receipt id. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for passes, Lifetime or earlier subscriptions, including for unused time, except where the law of your country requires one. Use the free taste to try Pro before you pay. A payment that is refunded by law or disputed with your bank ends the Pro it bought. We may change future pricing or plan packaging with reasonable notice; this never changes a pass or Lifetime you already bought.
9. Social features & splits
You may add friends, use invite codes or usernames, create split groups, record shared expenses, and record settlements. You are solely responsible for amounts you enter and share with others. Do not use social features to harass, defraud, or misrepresent balances. We may remove access for abuse.
10. Spending streak visibility
If you enable a spending streak, your daily limit and streak settings may sync to your account. Current and best streak counts (not your daily spend amounts or transaction details) may be visible to friends who use the app when streak sharing is enabled.
11. Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Content in the app is informational. We are not a bank, broker, CPA, or lawyer. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to you.
12. Third-party services
The app integrates services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, Razorpay (India), Dodo Payments (international), model vendors, and hosting endpoints. Their terms and privacy policies also apply when you use those features.
13. Acceptable use
You will not: reverse engineer except where law permits; probe or stress systems maliciously; distribute malware; infringe intellectual property; harass other users; submit fraudulent split claims; or break applicable law. We may suspend access for violations.
14. Intellectual property
Savyit branding, UI, and software are protected. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app as offered by the store; no other rights are granted.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAVYIT AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (₹100), IF NO FEES APPLIED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum permitted.
17. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Savyit against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the app, violation of law, or violation of these Terms, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
18. Changes
We may modify the app or Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Material changes should be communicated via store listing update or in-app notice when practical.
19. Termination
You may stop using the app anytime. We may discontinue or limit the service with reasonable notice where feasible. Provisions intended to survive (liability limits, disclaimers, indemnity) survive termination.
20. Governing law
Unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction subject to non-waivable rights you may have locally.
