How this is calculated

Every subscription is turned into a monthly cost first: weekly × 52 ÷ 12, quarterly ÷ 3, yearly ÷ 12. The monthly costs are added up and multiplied by 12 for the year and by 60 for five years.

Prices change by country and plan, so enter what you actually pay. It's on your bank statement or in the app's account settings.

Why the yearly number matters

$15 a month doesn't feel like much. $180 a year does. Most people who add up their subscriptions find at least one they forgot they were paying for.

Questions

How do I find all my subscriptions?

Search your bank or card statement for the same amount repeating each month. Also check Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, and the App Store if you use an iPhone too.

How much does the average person spend on subscriptions?

Surveys usually land between $50 and $100 a month, and most people guess far lower than what they really pay. Add yours up to see where you are.

Should yearly plans go in as yearly?

Yes. Choose Yearly and enter the price you paid once. It's counted as a twelfth of that each month.

Is anything I type saved or sent anywhere?

No. The calculator runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
