Paying the card with next month's salary: which month is that spending?
Count every card purchase in the month you make it, not the month you pay the bill. The bill payment itself is just moving money. If you budget by bill date instead, this month always looks cheaper than it was, and next month's salary is spent before it lands.

How to do it
- Record purchases on the day they happen, card or not.
- Treat the bill payment as a transfer, not new spending.
- Keep a running "owed on card" number and set it aside from your balance before working out what you can spend.
- Know your statement and due dates, so the bill never surprises you.
Where Savyit fits
Savyit reads the payment alerts your bank already sends to your Android phone (bank-app notifications everywhere; bank SMS and UPI alerts in India), so there's nothing to type and no bank login. Each card purchase counts on the day you make it. Each card gets its own wallet card showing what you owe in the current cycle, from your purchases and the statement and due days you set, with reminders before the due date.
What it can't do
- Android only. There's no iPhone version.
- It only sees what your bank tells you. Turn on alerts for every transaction in your bank's app.
- Cash isn't in any alert. Add it with quick entry or the widget.
- No bank sync and no CSV import. It starts from new alerts (in India it can also scan recent bank SMS).

Let your phone keep the receiptSavyit reads your bank's payment alerts on your Android phone and shows what's safe to spend today. No bank login, no account.
